1. stay out of the matter, please.
請別管這事。

stay out of: 保持不受...的影響(避開，不介入)。stay out of trouble: 遠(yuǎn)離是非。

例句：his father told him to stay out of trouble. 他父親叫他避開是非之地。

另外還有類似短語none of your business: 少管閑事；別趟這渾水。

on business: 出差。

2. don’t just shake your head.
別光搖頭，想想辦法。

握手是shake hands. 這讓我又想到電影《納尼亞傳奇1》中的一個場景：當(dāng)lucy第一次遇到半人羊（faun）mr.tumnus 時，自我介紹之后，lucy伸手要和mr.tumnus握手，她說：“you shake it." 呵呵，lucy是不是很可愛啊~~

3. don’t jump to conclusions.
別倉促/過早下結(jié)論。

4. that was a lousy  movie.
那電影糟透了。

5. have you thought about staying home?
是否考慮在家呆著？

《阿甘正傳》have you given any thought to your future?

你有沒有為將來打算過？

6. i’ll come. i give you my word.
我會來的/我向你保證。

下面還有一句類似的說法：keep one’s word：保證

7. i swear i’ll never tell anyone.
我發(fā)誓不會告訴任何人。

8. i’ll make it up to you.
我會賠償?shù)摹?/p>

make up: 補償。make-up: 化妝。要說某人化妝了是用wear這個動詞
