money makes the world go round

　　us currency is the most widely used in the world. there are $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 notes. they have american leaders on the face and emblems (象征標(biāo)志) and monuments (紀(jì)念碑) on the back. some very old banknotes from early years may be still in use.

　　china has five sets of banknotes. today we use the fifth and fourth sets. on the fronts of the fifth set of banknotes there is the face of chairman mao zedong. on the back there are different scenes. they show that china is a big and beautiful country. if you look carefully, you’ll see characters from the languages of different minority groups (少數(shù)民族) on the back.
