　1. 在形容詞最高級(jí)前通常應(yīng)有 the。如：

　　he is the tallest boy in the class. 他是這個(gè)班最高的。

　　this computer is the most expensive in this shop. 這種電腦是這家商店里最貴的。

　　2. 當(dāng)最高級(jí)形容詞用作表語(yǔ)且不帶比較范圍時(shí)，有時(shí)可以不用 the：

　　this room is (the) best. 這個(gè)房間最好。

　　但是，當(dāng)處于表語(yǔ)位置的最高級(jí)帶有比較范圍或限定性修飾語(yǔ)時(shí)，其前的the通常不能省去：

　　this room is the best in this hotel. 這個(gè)房間是這家賓館里最好的。

　　3. 如果是對(duì)同一個(gè)人或事物在不同情況下進(jìn)行對(duì)比，那么處于表語(yǔ)位置的最高級(jí)形容詞前不能用 the。比較：

　　he’s busiest on sunday. 他星期天最忙。(他與自己平時(shí)比，不用 the)

　　he’s the busiest of all the people. 在所有人當(dāng)中他最忙。(他與別人比，故用 the)
