英語中“年齡”的表達(dá)
1.表示“整歲”，直接用基數(shù)詞或year，age，例如“他20歲”可表示為：
he is twenty．
he is twenty years old．
he is a twenty-year-old man．
he is aged twenty．
he is at age twenty．
he is at the age of twenty．
he is twenty years of age．
2.表示“在某人幾十多歲”，用“in one's ＋基數(shù)詞復(fù)數(shù)形式”，例如：
他七十多歲。he is in his seventies．（從70歲到79歲之間）
她五十多歲。she is in her fifties．（從50歲到59歲之間）
還可以借助early，middle，late來表達(dá)得更明確一些，例如：
那女孩今年二十二、三歲。the girl is in her early twenties．
他今年十四、五歲。he is in his middle teens．
她今年二十八、九歲。she is in her late twenties．
3.表示“快滿多少歲”用進(jìn)行時(shí)或?qū)頃r(shí)，例如“他快滿十八歲了”可說成：
he is getting on for eighteen．
he is going on eighteen years old．
he will be eighteen years old．
it will be his eighteenth birthday．
4.表示“不滿多少歲”，用副詞barely，nearly，al- most，quite，yet，just等，例如“她不滿十七歲”有以下幾種說法：
she is barely ／nearly ／almost seventeen．
she is not quite ／yet seventeen．
she is just under seventeen．
5.表示“差多久滿多少歲”用介詞off，例如：
他差5個(gè)月就滿19歲了。he is five months off nineteen．
她再過3年就50歲了。she is three years off fifty．
6.表示“超過多少歲”用介詞past，例如：
他已年過50。he is past fifty．
他是一個(gè)過了中年的人。he is a man past middle age．
那孩子兩歲零兩個(gè)月。the baby is two months past two years old．
