mirrors have a very particular function. they reflect the image in front of them. just as a physical mirror serves as the vehicle to reflection, so do all of the people in our lives.

when we see something beautiful such as a flower garden, that garden serves as a reflection. in order to see the beauty in front of us, we must be able to see the beauty inside of ourselves. when we love someone, it's a reflection of loving ourselves. we have often heard things like "i love how i am when i'm with that person." that simply translates into i'm able to love me when i love that other person. often times, when we meet someone new, we feel as though we “click”. sometimes it's as if we've known each other for a long time. that feeling can come from sharing similarities.
當(dāng)我們看到美麗的東西正如花園的時(shí)候，那個(gè)花園的美麗本身就是作為一種映射。為了看到我們眼前的美麗，我們必須看到我們內(nèi)心的美麗。當(dāng)我們?nèi)�愛別人的時(shí) 候，正是對(duì)我們自己的愛的映射。當(dāng)我們常常聽到：我喜歡和那個(gè)人在一起的感覺(jué)。這句話可以這樣來(lái)理解：當(dāng)我喜歡那個(gè)人的時(shí)候，我也能夠喜歡自己。當(dāng)我們認(rèn) 識(shí)一些陌生人的時(shí)候，我們覺(jué)得我們恍然高興起來(lái)，說(shuō)得就是這種感覺(jué)。有時(shí)候常常會(huì)覺(jué)得我們已經(jīng)相識(shí)很久了，這樣的感覺(jué)來(lái)自于我們能夠互相欣賞我們共同的優(yōu) 點(diǎn)。
